Two Mega Big Guests Announced for NYCC 2022!

 After what seems like months without a New York Comic Con 2022 guest announcement, I was starting to wonder when we'd ever get a new guest announced for the fall's mega convention. With less than two months to go until NYCC, when would we get some names already?? And then today, two huge announcements drop throughout the day. 

The first bold name announced today was a triple threat. You may love him from Star Wars. You may love him from the MCU. You may love him from Dune. That's right, the man who is a chameleon of an actor. The man who is as different as different can be in every role. Moon Knight. Poe Dameron. Duke Leto Atreides. Yup, Oscar Isaac is coming to NYCC! Isaacs will be available for photo ops and autograph signings, though Epic Photo Ops hasn't listed Oscar Isaac's signing times or prices as of the time of this writing. 

With guest #2 they managed to go even bigger than the man of many faces and franchises. Who could supplant Oscar Issacs in terms of guest list wattage? None other than Venom co-creator, Spawn creator and Image cofounder, the Toddfather, aka Todd McFarlane. After a long drought of not attending NYCC, McFarlane became a bit of a NYCC staple during the years leading up to the Covid-19 pandemic, capping his most recent appearance in 2019, coinciding with the debut of the record smashing Spawn #301. NYCC was cancelled in 2020, and McFarlane didn't come in 2021, making this year his first NYCC is 3 years. 

McFarlane is promising a packed NYCC, with a list of what you can expect from Todd McFarlane at NYCC:

• Major announcements around the development of the SPAWN film
• McFarlane & Greg Capullo will give updates surrounding the upcoming SPAWN/BATMAN crossover comic ahead of its December release
• Further details revealed for the launch of the McFarlane Toys Kickstarter campaign for the new Medieval Spawn figures
• Celebrating 30 years of SPAWN and Image Comics 
  • Daily ticketed signings 
  • Dual signings
  • Spotlight panel 
• Exclusive merchandise
• Blank variant covers
• Posters
• Additional exclusive merchandise to be announced

In addition to all this, IDW Publishing is releasing a Todd McFarlane's Spider-Man Artist Edition this September. It seems like a given knowing IDW that there will be an exclusive variant cover for this NYCC, and hopefully a IDW booth signing for it as well. 

Oscar Isaac and Todd McFarlane are two HUGE guests! But we need more! Let the floodgates open! Give us names!
